Thank goodness I have no friends.
I wish I had friends that pestered me to play games with them. Even my real life friends don't enjoy gaming as much, except my Diablo 2 friends.

Here let me take out all the unnecessary parts of your post out. Much better huh?
No, once I beat the story mode I play online and never look back.

rofl it hasnt gotten to that point 'yet' :)
I am that guy who only plays one game. I don't give my friends guilt trips when they don't want to play though.
That one game used to be Gears of War, but now it's Gears of War 2.
Off topic: Matchmaking is pure shit on Gears 2. I hate waiting 10 minutes to play a match sometimes only to have that match lag like hell.

I don't have a wife who likes to play Wii on our one HDTV..........I have a wife addicted to Jon and Kate Plus 8 among other shows on TLC, and I usually have to wait for my kid to go to bed AND for her to be done with the TV before I can play anything at all. We have one HDTV and that's where the digital cable/DVR box is. Therefore, that's where my 360 is, and that's where my wife usually is watching her ridiculous shows.
Well, what you are talking about has nothing to do with Live. It's not a Live problem, but a friend management problem.

We have a DVR. We usually don't watch any of our shows until it's on the DVR. But often my wife's DVR watching and my gaming collide.
In all seriousness, she's actually pretty cool about it. I know she wants to unwind and watch some TV sometimes, and she knows that I want to play games pretty much ALL the time. We usually come to a happy medium.
