Seriously, just stop it. You haven't even played the game and what the hell does typical Sony mean? It plays great, if you think this is a mindless hack and slash then you don't play these kinds of games and somehow were expecting the enemies to be Ninja Gaiden level.

You have no idea what the game is like and you came in to bash Sony again. Also, the game is top notch from what the demo shows. The 1 gb probably has to do with the fact that there are like 6 different audio tracks and so much detail in the game which are both good things.

Also, Sony should release more demos, demos like this and then Ratchet and Clank will certainly sell their games to players who didn't know about 'em. How about you don't comment on a game you haven't played and how about cutting the bullshit about Sony being all about 'wow' and graphics out...

<sigh>

Fine, whatever. I won't comment any more. So much more to say, but no point to say it.

Forgot to mention one big thing, at the end of the rope running bit, don't press the square and you will have to fight the big axe dude and he is the toughest enemy in the demo and you should try him...

@Dolla Dolla- you can't block everthing in HS, the attacks that are in a red colord flash are unblockable. I think the axe guy is the only one to do those though, but the guys with the shields might also, I can't recall now.

Also, in God of War for a long time you can block everything until you reach tougher later enemies so that is probably the same here since the axe guy can be totally avoided if you do the rope event properly.

One thing I really hope for is that this demo is at the very beginnings of the game, cause if this is how the first enemies in the game act then I have really high hopes for later, tougher enemies being quite a challenge...

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I also got the "Meh" feeling from the demo. It's not bad, but it's not great either. Visually it was very nice and I thought the controls were fine, but the no jumping really bothers me for some reason and I just wasn't overall "wowed". I'd give the demo a 7/10. I'm holding off judging the entire game for now though. The demo turned this game from a buy to a rent for me. Maybe when i rent it my mind will be changed.

Post more impressions people!

Thanks to Blacksaber for the sig!

I saw alot of you guys playing the game ealier and after playing i must say....
It is nothing like god of war, from what i can tell this game is focused more on timed attacks and counters. Simply pressing the square button constantly will not work, as the badguys will just pummel you to the ground. The battles are very cinematic as moves can turn into nicely animated cut scenes on the fly. blocking is done opposed to what the enemies' attack is to add a deeper defensive aspect. The combat is done very well but my biggest concern is still whether we will see good traversal, exploration and puzzle elements in the game (since there's no jumping, platform gameplay is out of the picture). I don't want this game to end up as an arena to arena to arena to cannon shooting to arena over and over again. Frame rate felt a little chuggy to me but with graphics as good as it is, i can see why, hopefully the game will run alot smoother when it's released. Other than that it was a great demo, i only wish i can fight those guys with the axes and the really Fat guy.

Yeah same here Goodrid a rental for me. I really want to see how the story progress

If you want to know how many Frames per second, just count em. You can count to 60 right?

Hopefully the NA version is released soon and I can give it a try. I'll pretend I never read anything about it being 4d or remarkable, since then my expectations are of a game that will fellate me while doing my job and prudently investing my finances.

Then again, just a thought, isn't the 4th dimension time, and thus many games have had it? Either way, I wish to play.

Only complaint is about frame rate and motion control. They really like the gameplay.

"Heavenly Sword feels like an original title"

No one has unlimited internet in Australia??!?

This is a bigger crime than their PS3 pricing.
