Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Just beat Mega Man 3 (spoilers)

Let me just say, holy ****.  That game is hard.  I thought I had a handle on the series after beating Mega Man 2, X, X2,X3, and X4, but damn.  I was seriously thinking that I could not beat the 8 bosses that emulated the Mega Man 2 ones, but stronger.  Also, I hate the developers for putting that fake last boss in there, making you think you have beaten the game, and then showing you there was another

Regardless, I beat it.  I refuse to let a video game defeat me

Megaman 3 is my favorite Megaman game, with 9.

@ Bold:

Try to finish Battletoads or TMNT on Nes and we'll see

Megaman 3 is the largest classic game, even counting 7 on the SNES and 8 on the Playstation...

-8 Stages with 8 Robot Masters
-4 Large stages with 8 Megaman 2 Robot Master Simulators
-Break Man (Proto Man)
-4 stages with 3 Bosses and the 8 Robot Master Re-Match
-2 short stages with the Fake Willy Robot and Gamma (Final Boss)

It's my second favorite (Megaman 2 is my favorite), because of the difficulty and the incredible amount of bosses.

Now, i'm guessing you're playing the Virtual Console one, not the original NES cartridge with the instruction booklet, because there it explains about Wily stealing Gamma from Dr. Light, so i knew that was not the final boss in advance.

Ohh Battletoads, that IS some real badass game, and extremely difficult, that was the game that introduced me to the awesomeness of Rare...

TNMT was great for its difficulty but i hated it because Konami went nuts putting enemies that don't exist in the series (Internal combustion person, strange robot with flying head, sky blue man, etc. and where is Krang or the Foot Soldiers???)...

About difficulty, almost every serious Wii owner (like me) praise Metroid Prime 3, but how many of them got to play the original Metroid??? and also i want to know how many got to see the ending with Samus in bikini (for accomplishing that some mad skills are required)...

@ The Anarchyz

The first TMNT was based more on the comic than the cartoon. Maybe those enemies appeared there.

So, you finished Battletoads? =O

I played Battletoads years ago and loved it. The hardest part was lv 11 in the with the orb chasing you while your on a unicycle. It was a hard game but most of it dealt with memory and reflexes. I finished that many times.
TMNT wasn't too hard except for the jump in the sewer on lv 3. Also watch out for Shredders gun since it kills you instantly.

Ninja Gaiden III was rough along with Timelord.

I could never beat the last boss of MM3, you sir are a better man than I.

Getting an XBOX One for me is like being in a bad relationship but staying together because we have kids. XBone we have 20000+ achievement points, 2+ years of XBL Gold and 20000+ MS points. I think its best we stay together if only for the MS points.

Nintendo Treehouse is what happens when a publisher is confident and proud of its games and doesn't need to show CGI lies for five minutes.

You're my hero then  . I reached level 11, but died instantly and lost all my continues. Couldn't tried again because my Nes was almost dying.

The hardest part for me in TMNT was the Technodrome. I beat the game though. Jump in the sewer on lv3? Don't remember which part is that.
