I still haven't beaten I choose the Impossible on Bioshock, however, I wanted to remark that I am approaching battles in a fundamentally different way than I did when I played it on PC twice before. I find myself relying on the environment more than ever, and that telekenisis is my best friend when it comes to Big Daddies and Nitros.

Speaking of Big Daddies, those M'fers are hard as balls on Survivor unless you use every aspect of the environment to your advantage. Every fight I've had with them on this mode has been memorable and extremely satisfying especially when you use very little amno to kill them.

Spoiler:
I just killed the first big daddy in Arcadia by luring it into a room with electrical traps (Which I ducked under to get around leaving them for the BD to hit) and hacked gun turrents (veterans will know which room I'm talking about). It died in less than a minute and all I used was a handfull of bullets from my machine gun to get it to follow me.

Yeah it's great. I'm sure it would have been better if I hadn't had to take a break for a while, but still, really pleased with it. It's also nice to finally see what Supersonic looks like lol.

I had originally planned to get Far Cry 2 but comments like yours have put me off. I really just want to get Resistance 2 now but we still have an excrutiating 3 and a half weeks to wait here.

Yeah, Ubisoft apparently tried to prolong the gameplay of Farcry2 by adding ALOT of fetch quests and assassination missions that span from one end of the map (50 kilometers) to the other. The enemies always respawn and slow you down (by shooting and overheating your car) everytime you attempt to travel anywhere and only one mission can be done at a time. I'd say a good 80-90% of Farcry2 is just traveling, it really gets tedious. The entire experience feels draged out and artificial.

I don't mind that too much.

What I mind is the stupid platforming you have to do to reach some of the diamond cases.

I think I'm about to give up on collecting all of them, it's just too tedious...I got 78 in the north map without using any guide and I really am not looking forward to getting all of them.

I think I won't get the Third Faction trophy either, I only found 4 buddies in the north map...( it's random each game so can't really rely on others players experience to find them...)

PS3-Xbox360 gap : 1.5 millions and going up in PS3 favor !

PS3-Wii gap : 20 millions and going down !

All system is great but they should try to balance upcoming titles. Stuff a'la Linger in the shadows and silver trophhies? On the other hand Warhawk and Wipeout HD go too far. Some bronze trophies are extremely difficult to get (lonly wolf, cowboy etc.). Actually it takes more time to get single bronze or silver trophy in warhawk than platinum in Uncharted or Burnout Paradise.

I see what you mean but lonewolf and cowboy were actually extremely easy to get the first weeks after trophies were release ( join an empty official server for dm or tdm and someone else would join usually shortly after, whoever got the first kill would end up getting trophy as other player would leave). Now general is something else.........( the rank 30 trophy in Far Cry 2 is nuts too..)

It seems all retail games do not have the same amount of trophies/point equivallent.

Remember how we based the formula for bronze = 1 pt, silver = 2 pts, gold =6 pts and platinum = 12 points on games like Uncharted ?

Just by curiosity I was looking at Re2 trophies.
Instead of having the standard total 81 points ( what Uncharted has) the game has 89 points worth of trophies...
LBP has 82 points worth of trophies...

^ I count 82 pts for Uncharted, and 78 for Resistance 2. There might be some secret trophies that have yet to be revealed for Resistance 2.

I´ve just update battlefield, because some people said to me that the online trophies were all retroactive.

So I entered in online, and... six trophies ^^ hehe

after bioshock maybe I´ll come back and finish the offline story on it.
