No. Nobody's going to like FF13 enough to want to pay 450$ to be able to play FF Versus 13. Or at least not any signficant number.

dont think so because it isnt a continuation of the story you can have the full FF13 experience without having to buy a ps3

Well, Versus should be a pretty big game. SE said it's the core of the FFXIII universe along with FFXIII, and it's being made by Nomura's team, the Kingdom Hearts and the World Ends With You guys.

Even if this game didn't have the Final Fantasy name, it'd probably be big.

So yes, I could see some people getting a ps3 for both. Of course, that's assuming it stays exclusive.

For Versus and a shitload of other PS3 games and Blu-Ray, sure.

I will get both FF XIII and FF XIII Versus for PS3. Whether I play them is another story but I will buy them regardless.

So how long do I have to wait for those two games?

well the thing is if someone already has a 360 and are not die hard fans of FF then they will be just fine with just having FFXIII.

but die hard fans of FF who own a 360 will most likely get the ps3 at some point as well so they can get FFVXIII. and people who play FFXIII and enjoy it lots are going to want a ps3 to play the other FF or just lend one of a friend

People who dont have any console at the moment that want to play FF are more likely to get a ps3 if the series is of any deal to them because you only get the full FF experience with the ps3.

So FF is going to sell a lot more ps3 then it will 360's.

The FFVII:ACC FFXIII demo alone is going to sway most Final Fantasy fans still on the fence to pick up the PS3 even before the actual game is released. That combined with FFvXIII's exclusivity and the fact that Final Fantasy games have a legacy on PlayStation consoles ensures that the PS3 version of FFXIII will outsell the 360 version at least 2:1.
