I been a nintendo fan since i start getting consoles.  The last nintendo console i had was the N64 and then after that i ventured off on to the Dreamcast and Xbox.  I been pretty interested in the nintendo wii and i was wondering what are a games i should check out.

Since your a Nintendo fan, I'll assume that you'll like Zelda:Twilight Princess and Super Paper Mario. If you liked any Zelda games, you'll love Twilight Princess. Super Paper Mario was good and very interesting, but not very challenging. I think i died like 1 time cause i went into the pit of 100 trials (or whatever its called) with no shrooms or anything.

I just rented Godfather and it is rather enjoyable if you like sandbox games.

Mario Party 8 is the best mini-game collection that my friends and I have enjoyed. Its gotten similar play time to Wii Sports. All the other mini-games have gotten less playtime.

Other then that, there is nothing out yet that i want to buy (except maybe Resident Evil 4) A lot of people have recommended excite truck and red-steel but i'm yet to try either of those.

I kinda held the nintendo first party games as a given.  Zelda, Mario, Star Fox and the other games like those.  Im also interested in the Virtual Console.  Its sorta like a trip down memory lane i can get ahold of the old nes and snes games i once had and i lost.

I'll tell you one NOT to get. Don't even bother with Wii Play. Sure it's just 10 dollars more than a wiimote, but I haven't touched it since the day I bought it. I thought with a younger sister and brother that we'd get some joy out of the mini games but the time where we would play it is better spent in another round of Wii Sports.

Other than that, I've only got Zelda so I can't help you out.

Trauma Center is supposed to be really cool though.

The challenge I have is that I'm banking on a lot of launch third party games getting good price cuts near Black Friday. So while I want Trauma Center, Red Steel, Rayman and Godfather... I'm gambling on a big sale. Take that logic as you will.

Excite Truck and SSX Blur are good choices too..

Oh, Resident Evil 4 is a must-have!

ya i'd say, Zelda, Super paper mario, SSX, RE:4 and maybe godfather

The VC already got a lot of classics around, I'd advice you got get donkey kong country 1 and 2 and super mario world, and maybe sonic if you're into that
