Ok so heres the deal. Gold is running up on the 24th of August. I just need help in scoring a sweet deal on a new Gold subscritpion before then. I'm looking for a year, plus any bonuses I can muster from it. Just as an FYI, I don't have an Xbox Live Vision Camera, so if it includes that, even better. I'm going to check my regular hot spots for deals, but anywhere you guys can find one just post it up on here.

Also a quick question. You can't pay for Live with Microsoft points can you?

I found the package deal on eBay for $40 + 9.75 shipping. It includes:

-12 month Gold subscrition
-Xbox Live Vision Camera
-Headset
-Uno
-Robotron 2084
-200 MS points

Does everyone think it's worth the extra $10 for those extras or should I just shell out for Live itself?

I think the headset itself is worth the extra $$. Headsets can be finicky and if you're like me and you chat a lot you feel like you've lost a limb if you don't have one.  That is a very good deal IMO

I should have specified. I already have a headset, so this would be a backup or a headset for controller two if I ever needed it, which wouldn't be too often if at all.

Can antone tell me please... if i`m from Europe and i want to buy an US Live card for 12 months...i heard that you can email the code...and i have friends in the US,so... If i buy an US card will it work in Europe?
If not,how could i make it work? To create an US account from Europe and then type the US code? Please help.

it sounds like a nice deal. 

subscription = $40-50

camera = $50

headsets = $30

uno =$5

robotron = $5

combo at  store = $90

The card won't work in Europe on it's own. I don't know if you can make a workaround by creating a US account. I suggest if you can't find out, experiment by buying one month of Xbox Live from America, create the account and see if it works. If it doesn't, you're out maybe $6-$7. No biggy.

I'm pretty sure that all 12 month subscriptions come with an extra month.

I think I'm going to go for the eBay deal. I don't need the headset very much, and I'm probably going to give away the Uno, Robotron and 200 MS points to you fine folks in a league race but I've been really excited about getting a Live Vision Camera so I can show my penis in Uno matches. Beware whoever wins that Uno voucher from me.
