Blizzard has never been one to push PC hardware to the max so you wouldn't need to worry to much about any huge upgrades, unless your PC was from the late 1980s in which case it would be beneficial if you got a new PC anyway :)

But seriously, keep Starcraft and Diablo off consoles please. Their home is the PC, it would just be unnatural for them to go to consoles (Starcraft 64 and Diablo on PS never existed in my mind's eye).
