That isn't what is happening here though. This is a little more than a place for a few vgchartz friends to meet up. For the reasons I have described.

I think section 8 is a small forum of friends with email chains and chat rooms... its not more than that... we are just friends who want to talk in private... we are not taking anything away from VGChartz... thats all it is...

If you genuinely want a private area where you can chat to others, why all this rubbish? Why not just go there and chat? (thats what we did but since we thought it would only be fair to be open about it we did the sig thing... the plan backfired and I already offred to make an official apology and explanation thread... I´m sorry about how it went down but right now thats all I can do about it)

3. Upon then reading the threads in more detail I have become angry about what seems to be (and of course I could be wrong) the true purpose of the forum - see my quotes. (What did you think the pupse of the forum was ??? The examples you posted here are far from representative of what sec8 was about... the most prominent threads were ones like: "Say something about the person posting above you..." 267 posts "the fail game" 159 posts "What is the avatar above yours saying?" 135 posts "... so as you see most of it was fun and games... then we had good topics to get to know each other like "Introduce yourself"...) 

Solve these three points and everything will be ok.

Unfortunately this might be an issue that can't be resolved with both sides happy.

I really do understand ioi's feelings when he went through so much trouble to do everything he could for this section 8, but I also understand you guys wanting a place to gather and chat.

The thing is, in the end, it seems like you guys are saying to ioi "thanks for trying, but we don't care." He put considerable effort into appeasing a very small portion of the site, who is completely rejecting what he's done, despite him meeting every request you've made... and some of those comments up there are downright vicious and insulting. Personally I'm disappointed that that's how you would treat ioi and the site.

Again though, this might not be an issue that can reach a true compromise past live and let live. It is a really sad situation though. :(

And ioi, you are cherry-picking like a mofo. Seriously. You have taken a post here, and a post there, and put it together to form some sort of idea about Section 8 that doesn't exist.

Methinks that you should go and read FishyJoe's signature.

Section 8 is not down to 2-3 people to decide who's in. It's a democracy, we all vote. You make it seem like something where two people decide everything, it's a community aspect.

HOLD UP! can you guys stop, seriously. This is getting nowhere. It is simple to fix thix.

ioi, please remember, these guys are great posters, they are funny and they contribute a lot to this site. However, they made a mistake and hopefullly they want to fix this.

Now sec8 members, What do you guys want?
