just wait untill december 2008 and compare the PS360 library to the Wii library and you'll understand it..

 Nintendo hasn't released it's Q3/4 line up yet (will do so at E3) so that's kinda of unfair to say at this point, don't you think?

I don't mind your prediction, it's just you're comparing a well documented line up to one not yet announced.

A lot of people aren't familiar with Nintendo's new policy to only reveal new games for the upcoming quarter or two. Granted this gives the impression that they have nothing planned at all for the Holidays to those people but we'll just have to wait for July to really compare things.

are comedies and movies for kids and family movies in competition with horror, thriller and action movies? yes, but not directly, eventhough you will have people that watch a comedy one day, and a horror the day after.. they still target different audiences.. while all action movies target the same audience..

but Viper, I'm not comparing it yet, I say let's compare it in december..

 That's like saying FFXIII wouldn't be competing with MGS4 if they launched the same day.   Not everything on PS3 is action.

Don't take this too seriously this is just what I believe is going on:  every PS3 owner I've talked to on the internet gives off a vibe of satisfaction as opposed to fun for the average Wii owner.  Fun is different for everyone, as what is fun for one person may not be desirable for the next.

Being a satisfied gamer means that all of your gaming needs are met.  Take me for instance, I only have a Wii and have been having fun with it.  But I've yet to be satisfied.  I'm having fun with the Wii, but it's just that a certain substance is missing. 

Please don't quote me on this, it's just a feeling i have.  It's very hard to explain.     

^It's the video game industry. Just like the sign industry or car industry, there will only be a certain amount of money spent each year in the given industry. When they speak of an industry as being a $4 billion industry, that's the total which will be split up amongst all competitors in said industry.

The CONSOLES are not in competition, but the COMPANIES surely are. There is a "pie" and each company wants as big a piece as possible. Nintendo was smart, and decided that instead of going after only the preexisting "pie," they would also go after money that wasn't previously available (Blue Ocean).
