According to PSrock on VGchartz (which I believe has internal connections with GG)the game has been officially cancelled.

 PSrock says:

I am gonna up date the post now

So much for 2008 being the year of PS3 software domination. It was obvious that with the more prolonged development time of HD games, some titles were always going to be delayed. As time goes on, the celebrated PS3 2008 line up gets shorter and shorter. I think that once Nintendo unveil their plans at E3, the Wii will have the best software lineup for the year, contrary to what the naysayers have been suggesting.
