Forums - General Discussion - Why am i still visiting the site?

The reason I still visit is because after so 9+ years VGChartz almost feels like a second online home/family to me, a place where I can discuss my favourite thing (games) among a mostly friendly and intelligent community, and be my weird self without getting judged.

"not for the users I hate half of you and the rest I despise"
Ha. The very essence of VGC.

We are all always judging you.

I know, but you judge me for what I post rather than how I look or my neurology, which I can accept haha

They have badges now?

If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.

So the important question is; Do you hate me? Or despise me?

I miss the massive betting threads we used to have. Remember the 2016-2017 Switch release debate? That was fun...

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Come join The 2018 Obscure Game Monthly Review Thread.

I'll answer the thread personally and seriously. At the moment I'm here for the NFL predictions. I visit the data base every other month when I want to get games that I might have missed or failed to remember. I'm at that point in life where I'll buy a game years after it's released so sometimes I need to remember what games came out when. I also like to find names of nes and snes game I may have forgotten over the years. I'm an American living in Dubai and sometimes electronic/retro shops have games they don't understand the value of. I was able to find the original Earthbound without the case cheap. Some Indian teenager manning a hole in the way video game shop sold it to me for about $20. I'm sure the owner tore him a new asshole when he came back.
Anywho, I visit this website sometimes during those rare visits to the data base.

Basically to post on "Say something about the person above you". At least until I wait for next gen charts.
