There was even a thread a little while ago proposing a kickstarter to gather funds to try and buy VGC off of the owner. Although I doubt he'd even respond so... yeah, we're screwed either way

I've been a member for nearly a year. I have yet to see one message from this ioi guy to us. It seems he doesn't care about this community.

On top of the main site, scroll over "Tools" then click "Hardware by Date". On mobile at least, you can tap on the far right of the graph to get results from the most recent week.

And yeah, this is the norm for VGC. Wasn't always the case, but for the last 2 years or so being a month or 2 behind on hardware has been pretty standard.

Hmm, I think it's actually 2 different people, I believe Machina does the software, and Trunkswd does the hardware, with ioi doing the adjustments.

No more NPD/manufacturer's numbers?

The numbers here were usually adjusted at some point, after real numbers were out. With only Sony giving out numbers occasionally, there is no way to correct numbers (and the numbers are probably way off, as we know from the 60.4M PS4 number).

It seems the original "numbers guy" has left the building and there does not seem to be a timely solution implemented for that case.

As I said to another member, I'd rather have under tracked numbers than nothing. Something similar to that, anyway.

As I said to another member, I'd rather have under tracked numbers than nothing. Something similar to that, anyway. 

The thing is, for the mods and admins of this site, this is just a hobby. They're not getting paid a cent for their work here (well, at least in the case of the mods and Trucks, I'm not sure about Machina and Trunks), so they can only do so much.
