Album of the Week: Exivious - Exivious (2009)

Now here's something different!! I really like jazz fusion myself, so why not mix that with a hint of metal? That's exactly what Exivious decided to do with this album. No vocals: they're not needed. Just sit back, relax and listen to the music while watching the sunset or relaxing on the beaching. This music sounds like it could fit right in a video game soundtrack!
Discovered a very interesting band today called Okilly Dokilly. A band based on Ned Flanders. They got a few songs on youtube, watch at your own risk!

Oh man, sounds interesting...
One of my favourite video game soundtracks, F-Zero X!! It sounds great for MIDI N64 music!

We're getting into Winter, and that is the best season to listen to black metal!! This is the middle album of Darkthrone's Unholy Trilogy, the first fully-fledged black metal album by them, and the only one to be recorded as a trio. I like that dark, cold lo-fi sound. Some of the tunes are pretty rockin' too though I'd have to say! My personal favourites are Summer of the Diabolical Holocaust and Crossing the Triangle of Flames
