Extremely low risk that does not justify such an extreme rule. What terms limits are is a sign that no one trusts the democratic system in operation in the country concerned.

Americans are borderline non democratic as it is. They refuse to except their democratically elected President and throw him under the bus evey single chance they have, even if they have to make shit up like communist propoganda! America is hellbent on destroying its self from the inside out.

Well aas long as the attitude is tothrow every president under a bus and do the utmost to have him / her elected out of office at the next election it wouild seem term limits are unnecessary even with this borderline undemocratic system.
The one thing that prevents a dictator for life in the USA is the difficulty of achieving a constitutional amendment that would create a mechansim for a president to complete subvert democracy and congress and the supreme court and become supreme ruler by edict. Despite the shittiness of much of the US form of govt, there is a helluva lot the Potus can't do without congress and the supreme court going along.
Arguably the most tyrannical element of US democracy at the moment is the near permanent stranglehold the Rep[ublicans have on the House due to Republican controlled re-districting. But at least that is somewhat counterbalanced by the Senate being generally more contestible.
