goes to show that a 4G version for the Nintendo Switch is not needed

Youd hope so, 4g is faster than my home internet :'^)

The coming years will make the Switch concept increasingly easier to use... I hope Nintendo sticks with it going forward, definitely seems like a portion of the market they can fill.

Well yeah why wouldn't it?? I mean it's faster than most home connections here in Aus, used to use my 4G playing Blops2 because it would lag less.

"130 MB for 30 minutes of playing" Essh but expected. The issue with people playing with 4g is the reception quality. I will be curious about how smash bros performs cause MK8 even with shit connections had pretty good lag compensation but SSB was another story entirely since it's a fighting game.

Again, it will work fine IF your signal strength is consistent. Sometimes it isn't.

But Mario Kart and other racing games will work best here. Because of the nature of racing games, they can work with higher ping. Something like Smash Bros or CoD or stuff like that will be more troublesome. I speak from experience on this one.

4G is pretty good, so it should be :p

I live in Pittsburgh and get about 60-80 ms ping, 9-20 Mbps download/10 Mbps upload with Sprint LTE via wifi hotspot (faster with usb tether.) I use this as my main home internet. I've been able to play MMORPGS like FFXIV and shooters like Doom fine with these speeds. I also like to play Pokemon X/Y/Alpha Sapphire/Moon on the bus and get no lag problems (albeit these are turn-based titles.) Haven't tried any online games on Switch yet.

It's certainly a game with a higher tolerance for delay so it should be fine. Should work well with 3G too.
