NPD+Media Create has Switch at just under 1.5 million, not 1.35 million

NPD-909k

MC-565k

But that MC number does include a week inside April, does it not?For march it would be around 500k, if Im not mistaken

to April 2, just like NPD

NPD too...

March is a 5 weeks month... Actually, every last month of a quarter has five weeks.

Nintendo's FY317 ends on the 31th of March, while the 5th week of March ends on the 1st of April... So it's not really a week inside april but there are five weeks months that have a couple of days from the following month...

Oh, my mistake then! Then this looks better and better for the Switch!

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Well, I made a mistake too... 5th week ends on the 2nd of April not 1st! haha

I thought it was sunday on the 1st of April!

no problem, Media Create released numbers for the first week of April already so maybe thats where the confusion came from

Would be good if true, though they could be wrong

is this good or bad?

Good, they raising their expectations for Switch sales in 2017.

Superdata lol.

I know superdata isn't supposed to be reliable, but they are likely on track here.
Switch should be at least at 2.3M after it's first month, unless they drastically undershipped europe after launch.
