I can't remember what I did exactly there, I think I simply took a running jump and made it up the second see saw before it got too steep. Or perhaps there was a chest to put at the other end? Sometimes you can bypass electrical switches with arrows too, saved a lot of time in the Gerudo dungeon.

I was at Ganon yesterday, left again after clearing Hyrule castle. Still 2 dungeons to do, 5 zones to explore, 3 memories and 36 shrines to find. Hyrule castle is already repopulated, the bloodmoon came immediately after I left... I found a 102 + 30 attack claymore in there but left it since it had no durability on it and I still haven't found that Korok guy again to expand my inventory :/ No point in carrying weapons that don't survive a single battle. Durability up + weapons hardly make it through a second fight with silver enemies. It's kinda boring to pump guardians full of arrows, yet I can't get the timing right for shield deflect and weapons break way to fast on them. Luckily they're easy to avoid. Otherwise the game is amazing. It will be a sad event to finally defeat Ganon and end the game.

Ah yes. The Blood Moon. Once, I killed a crew of powerful baddies, used their camp fire and when I woke up, I was in the middle of their rape party. Good times.

Haha. Happened to me while I was fighting a tough camp, almost had the last one down, Blood moon hit. I didn't even have the chance to loot. I tried to finish him quickly and run out yet it struck midnight right before the final blow. Time flies.

Any clue how durable the Hylian shield is? I used it to practice deflecting shots from a guardian since every other shield breaks in 1 hit even with durability up +. The Hylian shield survived at least 10 direct hits, yet I think I'm going to reload and go around. Hate to have wasted it on practice. If only you could see the health of your equipment...

Around the Network

I really want to read this but I know they will mention stuff that I'd rather find out by myself. Experimenting and discovering have been some of the best things about this game. Tagging this until I finish the main story at least.

Should I wait until I played the game or read it now?
Hmm...

Haven't tried it, but the Hylian Shield may not break at all. Other unique equipment has blacksmiths who can recreate said equipment, but I haven't found anyone for the Hylian Shield. That it withstood ten hits from guardian lasers makes a strong case that it is unbreakable.

The health of equipment is displayed in three levels in both the pause menu as well as the quick menu. A flashing star means that the item is in top condition, a red glow signals that it is about to break. If it is neither of these two, then the condition is somewhere in the middle, but unfortunately it's not more precise than that.

Yeah I know about the pristine, somewhere in between and fucked levels of equipment :) I guess I can stand in front of a guardian and see if it ever breaks, then reload. Unless it's somehow resistant to a guardian and breaks after a couple hits from a Lynel with a crusher.

It looks like you don't get the chests complete icon on shrines if you leave an item in a chest, kinda screwed myself there. No clue where if I have actually not found a chest somewhere as I had to leave stuff behind all the time. (Doesn't really matter anyway at this point)

One more thing I just learned, those pesky slabs you need to knock away with stasis destroying your equipment, simply use an octo balloon, magical lifiting powers.

Can't spot that rock to complete a Korok pattern, activate stasis and it will highlight it
