I think those PS2 figures don't include the Japanese launch numbers which was months earlier, but they should still be included I would think.

Probably not. PS5 or XBox Next would be the only ones with a shot. The Xbox One number is almost more impressive considering it was $100 more. 900k+ is insane for a $500 system.

that is why i think MS will launch Scorpio around that price and it will be still attractive since Scorpio is so much stronger
