Luma3DS is useful for basically installing official games for free, and installing unofficial code like custom Virtual Console games, but I wouldn't dare connect to the internet with a modded 3DS, and I doubt you're interested in those things I mentioned.

Given that you got this at a good price, shouldn't you look into just removing it first? I'm fairly certain soft modding like this can be reversed. I mean, unless you are confident you can find an unmoderated one at this price,

It can run pirated software, it can have problems because the system is modified, and ultimately, it can get me banned from online or even from playing the system.
After messing up a bit with it, I wasn't able to even boot it with the SD card on, until I formated it and the mod asked for another confirmation in a pre-boot screen...

As long as you are playing original copies and not backups, you should be okay to use it online. Nintendo detects pirated software when people use public header files in their backups. If you are using copies you bought then your header files will be correct. I understand why you want to give it back though.

Well. Like i said to you senpai just give it back to the guy who sold to you and get your money back and search another 3ds with another seller or buy it on a store :/
