Forums - Nintendo Discussion - First Impressions of DRAGON BALL FUSIONS - Dragon Ball meets Pokemon

Has anybody ever thought about what would happen if you crossed Dragon Ball and Pokemon? Me neither, but somebody at Bamco did and it creates for the most interesting and refreshing thing to happen to series as video games since the orginal Budokai.

Start the game off choose a race:

Humans: Based off Goku and the Kame House students

Saiyans: Based off Vegeta with elements of other non Goku family Saiyans

Namekian: Piccolo with the magical elements of Demon King Piccolo

Aliens: Based off Frieza with elements of other alien characters like Zarbon and Dadoria/Ginyu Force

Majins: Buu with Supreme Kai elements

- Battle system reminds me a lot of GRANDIA.me point. A PvP match, pretty long just skip a few minutes

- There are 1019 characters to scout/fuse. Other than just DB official characters, you will be scouting generics from each race as well and they all happen to be unique for just being made with CaC parts. Really shows the level of customization you can achieve. They also come with their own name and profile so they feel like actual characters. Favorite generic so far: Battle enhanced Majin Nox!

- As the game suggest fusion is a core element. You can fuse pretty much any 2 characters. They get more powerful of course and race specific moves from both fusers can be accessed (if you want Saiyan race to know Kamehameha, the only way it will happen is fusing him/herwih a human  character who can learn it) and most importantly they look ridiculous half the time.
