EA Will Bring “One of their Bigger Games” To Nintendo Switch

During the UBS Global Technology Conference, Electronic Arts Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen gave a few hints on the publisher’s involvement with Nintendo’s upcoming console, the Switch.

Jorgensen mentioned that they’ll support it with “a game or two,” and that we should assume that it’s one of the publisher’s bigger games.

“In terms of Nintendo, in their announcement they announced that we’ll be supporting with a game or two on that new platform. We haven’t yet announced what game, but you should assume that it’s one of our bigger games we’ve been involved with.”

Jorgensen also explained that it’s too early for the publisher to predict whether the console will be successful or not.

“We’re excited for Nintendo, it’s an interesting device, but I can’t yet predict how broad it’s going to be, and will people be interested in a portable device alongside their regular portable device that they have.”

It’ll certainly be interesting to see which franchise Electronic Arts will bring to the Nintendo Switch. For the moment it’s certainly hard to say: Mass Effect? Battlefield? Titanfall? Or maybe a sport title, or maybe The Sims? Your guess is as good as mine for now.

Mobile game is definitely not one of EA bigger games. :)

My best guess would be Fifa, it has most sense..

Probably Fifa or something like Battlefield, but not the truly excellent ones like Mass Effect unfortunely.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Battlefield 4 port

It's Fifa for sure.

I think they're are bound to launch it on every console unless it's not financially viable or something like that (at least that's what I've heard many times in this forum, tho I don't know if it's actually true or not).

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

Spore Switch version confirmed.

But really, a port of the ME Trilogy is probably a safe bet, but Andromeda? No, that's too risky!

You know it deserves the GOTY.

Fifa it is then.

Fifa just because it's Fifa and Titanfall 2 because it needs more sales and Japanese love mechs :D
