With Nintendo latest results it put the 3DS a few hundred thousand units away from outellsing the NES,so In a month or 2 it will have officially outsold it.

Nintendo’s current handheld the Nintendo 3DS has sold over 61.57 million units globally since launch. With regards to software Pokémon X & Y has sold 15.64 million. Mario Kart 7 has sold 13.94 million. Super Smash Bros for 3DS is the most recent best-seller, with 8.35 million copies sold.

Should we combine NES Classic sales with the original NES?



Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

The Pokemon Sun/Moon push will do the trick. Even if the thing has reached its saturation point, a pokemon game is bound to sell a couple of million units of hardware.

Hm... was under the assumption that it was already released. But it seems it releases in 2 weeks. So still not chance for the 3DS to ever catch the NES.

Well it wouldn't count as nes sales anyway surely other wise we would have to count all those mega drive things you can buy that have like 30 games built in

Really? pretty sure if we looked at mega drive sales itstaff what it sold whilst in production not a replica years later. But ofcourse I may be wrong
