New Senran Kagura game to be announced on October 6

Here is Yagyuu in a swimsuit wielding a (water?) gun.

The October 20 issue of Weekly Famitsu, due out on October 6, will have the official announcement of the next Senran Kagura game, series producer Kenichiro Takaki said during a Famitsu live stream today.

Takaki brought with him a piece of artwork showing Senran Kagura character Yagyuu wearing a swimsuit and wielding a watergun-looking pistol.

The producer also mentioned that he wants to do something with virtual reality. Perhaps the next Senran Kagura game features a PlayStation VR component?

It’s worth noting that while the next issue of Weekly Famitsu won’t hit newsstands until October 6, we’ll likely hear about the new game in the early morning (EST) of October 4, when the magazine leaks ahead of its official release.

My sentiments as well. Curious to see gameplay videos and what the final roster will be. Likely play as Homura, but like to see Souji in PS4 glory finally.
