If you want, from what my uncle has been saying (and he has built his own customs a few times) a Gigabyte motherboard will run well, and will be compatible, but the problem would be having to make sure it works with the rest of the computer, and the CMOS information you would need to re-config of course. I think the one I am getting which is the Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 R5 ATX AM3+ Motherboard. It is around $111.75. I can understand however if you don't wanna do this because it could be an inconvenience.
