So now we have a super motion control gaming console with force feedback rumor http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=219829&page=1#

I think I have an idea of what the nx really is, guys if you think about it we always have a different kind of rumor for a different kind of system, always saying "this is the nx" well... what if the gimmick of the nx is that Nintendo is developing a system with all the different play styles, handheld gaming, console gaming, touch screen gaming, motion control gaming. Seems like a powerful idea, also, maybe some kind of cheap vr gaming. I would love this "gimmick" cause it's not a gimmick, it's about functionality.

I really think this is the nx, everything in one.

I'm interested in Zelda for NX.

Truth is, if it's a handheld/console tv connected hybrid device it will just stay connected to my tv.  There is no reason to kid myself otherwise. The idea I think is very cool but like many things tech wise I find cool after playing with it a week it will more than likely stay tv docked where I'll use it the most.

l <---- Do you mean this glitch Gribble?  If not, I'll keep looking.

I am on the other side of my sig....am I warm or cold?

Marco....

I don't think I have ever owned anything with force feedback and found it hurt the experience, console controllers, racing wheels, all good. Force feedback is generally a good thing but does hurt battery life, so it would be nice if you can turn it off (should be possible).

Motion control, in my honest experience, is not something I enjoy, if the NX uses it a lot, I will deffenitely not support it I made a big misstep jumping in the wii console and finding myself not enjoying the experience.

It would be good if the console supports motion control for backwards compatibility with older wii games, we can only applaud it if it supports it for that reason.

I really hope the NX keeps "motion control" to a minimun, if at all. That's a turn off.
But most importantly, If its a breed between a console and a handheld I hope it cost less than a console then.

I just hope its not a jack of all trades while being a master of none

With all the rumours flying around this is something I have also been fearing, trying to please everyone but in the end not really amazing anyone :(

I heard it has a real gimmick called games

a Jack of all trades, master of non type of thing?
Instead of being one super forcused device, its instead a device that can funktion as many differnt things.

Thats a intresting idea.

I thought that every console is the Jack of all trades now anyway. Shouldn't be a problem...

It is near the end of the end....

I think they want to provide a next-gen experience on many levels. A fresh take on gaming. I don't think we should restrict our thoughts to one "gimmick". Good Nintendo systems offer multiple innovations.

SNES offered 16-bit processing, thousands of colours, synthetic symphonic music, four face buttons, triggers and mode-7 3D. N64 had true polygons, 4 controllers and analog sticks. Wii had motion-sensing, ir aiming, and the virtual console.

I think NX is going to offer AR and a new take on motion sensing gaming that will incorporate next-gen Wii-motes, a motion-sensing camera and possibly AR. I think they will combine this with tablet portability and the option of connecting the SCD to allow for traditional core experiences on the TV.

I think they are going to try to repeat Wii success with an affordable, accessible, innovative system. I think the SCD twist is an attempt to placate the core gamers, the 50+ million or so who bought the Wii when it was fresh tech but then ditched it for PS360.
