My crude guess: The NX is a home console with a special attachable controller module. A module that functions as an extension for smartphones/tablets(?) with their respective specifically tailored mobile games (Pokemon game within the first six month). But also serves as a game pad in combination with aforementioned devices for the NX base system to play "home console games" with the display of a mobile device as interface... so to say.

All true - but also nVidia also hasn't announced any new design wins related to gaming. We know for a fact AMD has at least 3 as well as confirming other semi-custom wins.

Thread title is misleading - but not worth closing this whole thread over.



I predict NX launches in 2017 - not 2016
