You mean that console with "inferior tech" that had everyone picking their jaws up off the floor after this E3? (And the NX should be even more powerful.)

Nobody was picking their jaws up off the floor" after seeing the new Zelda. Well, unless you mean the already sold biased fanboys who don't know any better.

Majority of people were impressed and hyped because of what the game was aiming for, and for the route the franchise was taking. It wasn't because of any visual spectacle of technical achievements of any kind. If it wasn't a Zelda title, nobody would have reacted the way they did. But because it is a Zelda title, and because it's finally evolving passed the comfort zone it was sitting on since 1997, people are praising the direction it is taking.

Spoiler alert: Don't take any of what I said as negative. I've been a diehard Zelda fan since 1987. And can't wait to play this new game. I've been asking for a return to source for like 3+ titles now (WW aslmost fooled me xD). Saying Nintendo should return to the open/exploration oriented/non hand-holding formula of the original. And it seems like BotW is finally aiming for that.

Speak or yourself. My friend who's never owned a Nintendo device was impressed by the art design. Who are you to speak for him and many other gamers? Running around on this forum and calling people biased, Nintendo fanboy, that they only criticize "outside of Nintendo's circle" and that this site is "Nintendo frienly". Seems to me that YOU are biased and with an agenda.

I am a Nintendo fanatic.

I hit a sensible chord indeed.

Oh how I wished that I lived in Canada near your place. I would chop down a big ass tree on your head. Then I would shove that tree up in your ass with a little help from some of that maple syrup your country's known for. Screw you, bastard.

My... You're free to do so anytime. Not like threatening me online will prevent me of sleeping. But I think you are blowing all this out of proportion.

I love Nintendo, in case you didn't know. Add my NNID anytime. ^_-

I don't care about your preferences but that of your behavior. But I see now that mine was no better. Anyways, my days are numbered here. I bid you farwell.

You took my comments to Curl, a longtime friend of mine on VGC at face value. And threw it out against me among other stuff I've wrote recently elsewhere. Curl knows very well that he has a bias, or preference if your prefer a politically correct way of saying it. He didn't take any offense at it, while you did. You are obviously more emotionally invested in what is said about Nintendo than he is.

But good thing you admit to having overreacted. I speak honestly and am very direct in the way I present my opinion. Always have, most likely always will. If you don't like what I say, and if it makes you angry, question yourself first. The truth, they say, hurts quite a bit. The comment you quoted from me, implied technical merits, not the artistic style. And that's what I reffered to when I said nobody had their jaws drop on the floor. So again, step back and read with a clear mind before jumping at someone's throat like you did.

I hope you are not refering to zelda. The ONE game that will be supporting the wii u during 2017 (third party and first party). Speaking of 2017, the game was supposed to come out in 2015. Zelda shouldn't have even been shown at this E3, we should be playing it now as we speak. But of course the game was delayed (like many many other wii u games) because of development struggles presented by the hardware. Other big delays include but are not limited to: starfox zero/gaurd, pikmin 3, wonderful 101, watchdogs, rayman, donkey kong country tropical freeze and wii sports hd. Let's not forget about all of the cancelled third party games due to inferior tech such as all of EA, Bethesda, and Slightly Mad Studios.

Did zelda look fun? yeah. Did it look graphically impressive? HAHAHAHA. The tech is the bottleneck. Had nintendo worked on zelda with the ps4's hardware, it would be out now looking better than any other game this gen. Instead we're settling for delays and subpar graphics because of the wii u's relatively poor GPU performance.

I have every right to complain about the wii u's hardware after it's performance this gen.

It seemed to impress digital foundry with its visuals, take home IGN's best of E3, and was by far the most talked about game after E3.

Didn't come out of their analysis with the same conclusion. They seem to be "impressed" by how it looked, but also say it is maxing out the console. Not that it was a technical feat in any way.

It doesn't really matter as NX will be more powerful right? I'm simply saying that even today 10 year old tech can impress us visually, and power isn't the end all be all. In fact its relevance is waning.
