This petition is kind of pointless, even if they did put it on the Wii it's not like it would be the same game.

Onimusha, I support your comments and all, but I hate that damned berries and cream guy. Quit posting so much. I'm sick of seeing him. :D

Anyways, I signed the petition. I'll be getting a PS3 at some point, but I still think I'd prefer a Wii version.

I was going to start a petition to stop online petitions, but I feared that someone would start a petition to stop the petition to stop online petitions. But then I thought that I could start a petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop online petitions. But then someone could start a petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop online petition, which would leave my only option of starting a petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop the petition to stop the online petition... Oblivion got ported to Japan thanks to a petition. Bioshock got a collector's edition thanks to a petition.

So they do work, as long as companies are willing to listen.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.

Sorry, but the philosophy here is not that people are unhappy with the Wii, its that they're uhappy with third party support and want games that the #1 console of a generation deserves. It's principle. Why settle for rushed projects when you can have the creme of the crop. I'm sorry you don't understand but your contempt is appreciated for bumping this thread if nothing else.


 There is a little problem with that logic.  You see the PS2 was always way out in front of the other consoles.  The Wii is not going to keep selling like it is forever.  I know this for a fact, and the third parties know it too.  I'm sorry, no one on this site is an analyst, yet some completely ignore what these people who are making a ton of money (analysts) are saying about the console scene.  The fact is Wii is #1 right now, but its not really #1 in terms of software sales.   Thats because grandparents and soccer moms don't buy games for themselves.  Wii is Wii Sports.  You might see a dumbed down version of RE5 on the Wii someday.  But sorry, the Wii doesn't deserve these games any more than the PS3 or 360 does.  In fact if any console "deserves" this game is the PS2 will over 120 million users.

Now, just so you know I am going to ignore any and all inevitable "BUH BUH, and NUH-UH's" that will result from this post.  If you want this game get a 360 or PS3 period.  The industry has spoken, and the real next gen consoles are 360 and PS3

Just give us a damn RE4-like spinoff Capcom and we'll be happy! And Megaman Wii! And Bionic Commando while you're at it! And certainly Street Fighter 4 is Wii-exclusive, right?

See, we Wii owners are not that needy...

Anyways, yeah RE4 controls on the Wii are the way to go in this series. It's a game that revolutionized the series when it hit the GC and is even now considered one of the best games on the Wii. It has phenomenal gameplay, controls and graphics, not to mention amazing voice acting, story and replay value. It's not going to be easy for RE5 to beat the expectations that RE4 gamers have thought out. Graphics wise it looks MINDBLOWING, and what we have seen from the story and gamplay, it looks pormising, but I do hope, and I'm sure I'm talking for many here, that RE5 lives up to the hype, and if we're lucky and the game is brought to the Wii, we hope it gets the controls RE4 has.
