Definatly seems like Link will is part of Sheikah tribe.

I expecting GameXplain will make 15 min video about that new logo. :)

Just wait until the analysis machine breaks trying to analize the 24 hours of gameplay from E3...

My head hurts from reading this thread.

Bet with bluedawgs: I say Switch will outsell PS4 in 2018, he says PS4 will outsell Switch. He's now permabanned, but the bet will remain in my sig.

So, that's probably when the genre-bending will be. Link with the ability to transform into a girl, pretty much the same way as Zelda going into Sheik. Maybe. That's a theory I like. Also, E3 is just Zelda then? XD.

The Sheikah are a tribe, almost like a clan.So what you said dosent make a sense, since in a clan you can have, you know, mens.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

What makes you distrust him?

All his lies and incompetence to develop a game faster.

You're making him cry.

We don't know exactly how the Sheikah are, but we already know that Zelda did that gender-bending thing, which could pretty much be an outfit or just Sheikah magic. So I don't know how exactly that doesn't make sense XD. This was an OoT discusion, did Zelda actually change her gender, or she was just with a male outfit? We can have an explanation in this game.

Doubtful. He must be happy that he had another 5-6 year cycle to develop a single game.

A tribe doesn't only consist of women btw, Link being one of them doesn't mean the character will be female, Zelda also didn't gender bend she just disguised herself in masculine attire to help mask her identity. If anything this Link would be the first member of the tribe to be an incarnation of Hylia's hero, it would explain why this incarnation appears more hunter and guardian like given the supposed nature of the tribe.

The Sheikah are a Tribe dedicated to the Royal Family and Hyrule's prosperity that was explained in OOT, they likely trace their roots back to SS' Impa who was the guardian of Hylia's earliest known Zelda incarnation in the timeline.

Nah, I'm just theorizing. I don't think it has became clear that the Zelda gender bend is just a disguise. At least I didn't get that when I was playing OoT. It was pretty much in the air. I just felt that Sheik's constitution is a bit different from Zelda's. But as far as I know there's no official confirmation about that, so we'll see in one month :P.

EDIT: To your comment above, yeah, we know how they Sheikah are, bad worded, I mean just about the gender-bend, not Sheikah's roots.

"gender-bending".We know that Zelda covered up her identity and thats that.Changing gender is pushing too far, since there is no evidence of that ever happening in the series. And as you already admited, could very well be just the clothes that looks masculine, and by far the most logical explanation.I mean, that theme of woman looking like male has been used too many times to count in games and animes. That is the best explanation.

Plus, I agree we know very little of the Sheikah, but having male and female members seem normal.I dont really get why people need Link to be female. As far as we know, Emily rumour is that.A romour. And while she has been correct in the past, she has also been wrong.
