Forums - Nintendo Discussion - UPDATE: We're getting Xenoblade 1 on NA Wii U eshop tomorrow! Good move NoA

"Never", says Reggie as he evilly rubs his hands together.

You're joking but that's the weird thing. If they put the game on eShop they can get more money instead of GameStop and Amazon selling their used games.

Probably never, which is unfortunate, cause I would gladly buy Xenoblade again.

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

May or may not get it at all. Pretty sure they'll remaster it for NX at launch.

"You should be banned. Youre clearly flaming the president and even his brother who you know nothing about. Dont be such a partisan hack"

I swear, every Thursday i check the e-shop to see if they have uploaded it. Hope it's soon.

the game was originally Japan exclusive so it isnt really that rare to find for them. as for the US and UK, only a very small amount or English copies were made, most of which went to America. so Europe got the game on the eShop since barely anyone there got to play it. and i guess now Nintendo is thinking Xenoblade Chronicles 3D is enough to appease fans... but no, this game is worthy of the big screen

the only reason i imagine is to still sell xenoblade 3d on new 3ds.
but, it doesnt seem its selling...
so, no excuses NoA.

This! I've been waiting so I can play through it again without having to delete one of my saves from my original version. Plus, I have a friend who played XCX and wants to try the original but doesn't want to have to spend tons of money to do so.

You'll have to delete them anyway. The Wii games on the eShop run on the Wii Mode of the console, just like if you put the original disk. So, if you had save files of Xenoblade Chronicles, the eShop version will load them.

Seriously? That sucks. And I suppose on a different NNID user account (which has different Wii U saves), it'll still use the same Wii Mode saves then? Dang it. I don't want to replace any of my original files, but I'd like to play it again on Wii/Wii U because even though I have the 3DS version, it just isn't the same/as good.

Upcoming Games To Get

Definite: Kirby Star Allies (Switch), Mario Tennis Aces (Switch), Fire Emblem (Switch), Yoshi (Switch), Pokemon (Switch), Kingdom Hearts 3 (PS4), Monster Hunter World (PS4)

Considering: Fe (Switch), Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze (Switch), The World Ends With You (Switch), Ys VIII (Switch), Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition (PS4), Kingdom Hearts 2.8 Remix (PS4), The Last Guardian (PS4), Shadow of the Colossus HD (PS4), Anthem (PS4), Shenmue 3 (PS4), WiLD (PS4)

There are several wii and Gamecube games that are expensive and hard to find physical copies of that many people would like to play - Those should be some of the 1st games they put on the VC/eshop but nope- not Nintendo -

I understand what you say. I have the Wii version, the 3DS version and Wii U VC version (I'm a Xenoblade maniac xD), and while the 3DS it's an incredible version for a portable device, nothing beats playing this game on a big screen and a normal controller ^^

As for using a different NNID... I'm 90% sure that NNIDs are not taken into account when launching the Wii Mode. So that wouldn't change anything d:

It isn't already? Dammit, regionlock.

You know it deserves the GOTY.
