As of May 2014, the game made over $1.98 billion in revenue. So minus the $250k from initial development, whatever it cost them to make the DLC, and add the additional almost 2 years worth of sales and revenue, and I think a safe answer is a lot.

No way it only costed 250k to make. I heard the amount of money it costed to make GTA was was close to the amount a blockbuster would need(200+ million).

Crap, I meant $250 million.

Still wondering if Smash Wii U would've done well if the 3DS version didn't exist.

its on track to do over 5 million so it has done well, would it have done better if a 3DS version didnt exist? probably, but i dont think by any huge margin, its going to be in the top 5 Wii U games regardless.

Interesting list. Btw, it's interesting to note that VGC undertracked Pokémon X/Y... according to Nintendo it's well above 15m right now.

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Is pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire the most selling remake? Or is GTA a remake?

Maybe that includes digital?

Yes, for sure (but it's probably a bit undertracked physically) . Regardless, It's still amazing to me that Pokémon continues to sell this well after so many years.

GTAV is an enhanced port, you could call it a remaster I supppose. OmegaRuby/AlphaSapphire is a complete remake of the GBA games Pokemon Ruby/Sapphire.

Yeah. I dont think the digital sales would be that high.

And yeah. It will be interesting how Pokemon Sun/Moon will sell.

i dont think Sun/Moon will match X/Y but it should match or exceed OR/AS, i would say 12-13 million.
