Forums - Nintendo Discussion - NX Console/Portable combo?

Just wondering because when I look at the supposed  leaked controller it has portable written all over it. Personally, I would prefer they just work on improving the pad. Maybe make it a little smaller, with a slightly bigger screen, and better range. But if it's true and the NX is this console/portable combo we've been hearing about then I somewhat understand the design.

It's confirmed fake

The leak is BS. Always was. But the combo idea has been a rumor for a long time.

While the leak has been (thankfully!) proven fake, the idea of a home console with a gamepad that acts as a handheld has been discussed before.

It's a good theory that solves a few problems, but it brings another one to the table: price. Unless both the home console and the handheld/controller are weak (barely more powerful than Wii U and 3DS, if at all), the resulting device will be quite expensive.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

A lot of people have been suspecting the NX to be a fusion console, but is all speculation, of course

Yeah, no one knows for certain how the NX will be or work, unless they have signed a non-disclosure agreement with Nintendo and can't say without getting sued.

For all we know, it will look like the Vita but have a HDMI connector that lets you stream it on your tv.
