Yep, Daybreak have buy the SOE last years. so no sony fault at all.

Sony sold them off to another company, because they had trouble keeping them in toe.

This isnt the first time, the company has had issue with deadlines & scope management.

Ah I thought SOE was still holding the reigns, didn't know that Daylight was not just the developer, but the producer too. Learn something new everyday, just in time for a studio to go belly up.

This saddens me because EQ has the absolute best story of ANY mmo (warcrap, blade and soul, guild wars,etc, can't touch it). Planes of Power and the after effects of that storyline were amazing. Starting from The Sleeper, all through Seeds of Destruction, even if you ignored the reading during quests, the raids would summarize how what you did, brought you there in the first place. Then the consequences of your actions in further expansions. Mayong Mistmoore, going from being a powerful Vampire, to a Vampire Demi God able to challenge the Prince of Fire (Solusek Ro). Too much story. Sony should take the ip from them. Shit, sell it to NCSOFT.
