Forums - PC Discussion - Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen port report

Total Biscuit gives us his usual port report, this time on Capcom's Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen.

Bonus report by AngryCentaurGaming:

I'll post TB's "WTF is" video when he uploads it, if someone wants to they could just post it themselves in another thread or in this thread to be added to the OP.

Overall both think it's a good port, TB is a bit harsh in some areas but loves the game in general. The game does have some minor issues like having graphical problems when using ultra wide monitors. another slight niche issue is 150 fps cap. Even the most expensive monitors usually go up to 144 hz. There are a handful that can do 160 but you get the idea, not really that much of a world ending issue but something that some users have pointed out none the less.

Anyyway I hope that paints a picture of the port in general, it sounds and looks like a great one (barring textures, TB was a bit harsh on those) and I'm still waiting for the game to unlock =P, though it's already downloaded, my chances of playing it are slim with my weekend being taken up via extra hours with work. Anyway enjoy and have fun!.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

One of the best games in the seventh gen. A gem!

Nice to hear that the port is decent considering Capcom does some remarkably awful ports on PC from time to time.

I was completely sold on the concept of Dragons Dogma but never got to play much because I sold my ps3. I'm getting this for sure! Hopefully I can convince my friends to play and give a round table about it afterwards.. If that happens I'll keep ya updated.

Would love a sequel to this! Also want dragons dogma online to come to the west! Come on capcom!

You have a Steam account ;o!?

yeah I go by busyleaf most places because snyps is taken. But I am the original snyps on the web. Been snyps for 15 years. Even got the domain snyps.net even though it's not doing much :P

You can still use the name Snyps though - its just when people search you with Snyps - there would be more than 1 ;p.

Would you mind if I add you or no ;o?

no problem buddy I got like no friends on there!
