So unfortunate for Kojima. To completely disrespect a well-respected developer like that is beyond crazy. I give Geoff credit for what he did, unscripted or not. Hope for the best for Kojima.

How would Konami be able to prevent him from attending? He is no longer employed by them so what authority would they have? .... unless it is in their severence agreement

More likely in their agreement. I think his contract ends at the end of the year or at least that is what I've seen people saying if I remember right ;p
