Do you have to pre order it to get the beta or will they do with what they did with the ps4 where they let everyone download it after a while..?

PC beta running much smoother than PS4 so far.

Been playing the steam beta for a while now. My impressions so far:

1. The game seems to run nice. I have a I5 3500k, a HD 7850 and 8GB ram on this PC. Is very low end, but can handle medium settings at more than 60fps so far.

2. The graphics and voice chat settings seem to default everytime I quit the game. Keybinds options are actually saved.

3. So far the game has crashed once every two to three games. Usually after the match ends. It crashed twice when applying the graphics settings.

4. Been having a hard time finding matches. I dont think the matchmaking system can merge lobbies. But I only played from 1 am until like 5 am which might be the problem.

5. The game is just like Advanced Warfare but a little more refined. At least the maneuverability feels tighter. Not really much difference. But the specialisations seem like a fun addition. They feel like a replacement for titans. I have stayed on Overwatch so far. Might try the rest later.

I have spent most of my time looking at this :(

Haven't had it crash on me yet, haven't had any issues at all yet. The game does run well, I have i5 4690k, R9 380 nitro, 8 GB of ram. On high settings averages 97-105 fps. It's actully a much more stable beta than it was on PS4.

My impressions with PS4 beta.

- Lagged... ohhh hell who lagged this Beta runs... sometimes the movements of my buddies are like blinking in the space.

- The controls are CoD like but I can't fell them anymore after Destiny :(

- No crash for me.

- It is fun yet.

Wow, you feel like this game plays like Advanced Warfare? I can't even enjoy Advanced Warfare that much, but when I played this game it felt like a breath of fresh air. Everything is smoother, the graphics are more inviting and more beautiful, the gunplay is more precise and fluid, and there is no truly overpowered class in my opinion. I love the interfaces as well, everything looks better and is nicely packaged on the menus and customization screens. I feel like it is the best Call of Duty game I have played since BlOps 2, which feels like forever ago. I am definitely enjoying the beta and can't wait to see what the full game brings us!

Remember to report things to Treyarch via their feedback thing.  I've done a few bits and am still looking to do others. The game is real fun but needs improving in a few areas. The offensive specialist are generally quite OP and some of the game modes are very scorestreak heavy that it ruins the game, as in I can't play it as too many things are happening.

Hmm, pie.

I'm on Windows 7 64 bit. I havent been able to work the crashes out yet. But I have noticed this beta likes RAM a lot. My HD 7850 is the 1GB version, so that might be the problem. My internet connection is also poor, ping is usually around 120s. I'll try again later.

Mine crashed on me the first time I joined a match on Xbone. Never crashed once on PS4.

Beta is shit, though. The maps are AWFUL. Way too small, there's no room to spawn. You should never be able to walk 2 seconds from an objective and be facing an enemies spawn. And to make matters worse, you have two choke points to force them out through, and they have no cover while you do. It's just poor design. I think that map is Combine? The other three are slightly better, but not by much. It's sad that even the bigger ones are plagued by very poor spawns.

Disappointed in the wall running and thruster movement as well. It could have opened a lot of insane movement possibilities, like Titanfall, but instead it just seems like every map has a token place to wall run, or a token gap to glide over.

No. I clearly stated that it is "more refined" than Advanced Warfare and that "a least the maneuverability feels tighter". Like I said, I haven't had much luck getting into matches, so my game time is limited and could only play the overwatch class. I was giving an honest answer and have no intention of doing PR for Activision. I'm glad you like the game. Id had fun too, but I don't want to misslead people. This is a post Titanfall CoD and plays like one. That is important for people that prefer the style of MW over all this sci-fi stuff.
