I watched this film when I was a kid and have fond memories.

Let's see what they do with it.

I liked the original when I was kid but I never felt like it needed a sequel, much less a reboot. I just hope it's good if it does release.

I dont see a reason to reboot this. They should just leave this as a classic.

Hollywood have no ideas left. That is the reason.

But probably will look to compare with the original. Love the original one.

It actually could do well in my opinion. Since Robin Williams is dead, there is no need for comparisons. Casting Chris Pratt/Jlaw would be the safest bet. He don't have to be a man cave. Just a different scenario, shorter time frames would work.

Sadly it's true.  95% of the movies made are reboots, sequels, prequels, base off comic, anime/manga, foreign movie, true story, novel etc.. Creativity is a lost art in Hollywood. 

Sony doesn't have a clue.
