It's not too surprising that they would decide to empty some warehouses and join this profit train. They have the kind of history and fandom to make this a safe bet.
Depending on price and the merchandise itself, it could be huge. It's a smart move though.

Nope. And considering the fact that they made it a deliberate point to abandon the Wii's currency, I don't see them doing that again.
