Read your own source, he got it right with 900p! It outputs 1080p (upscaled), but it renders only 1600x900.

Every console game rendering above 720p outputs in 1080p because most TVs wouldn't understand resolutions between 1280x720 and 1920x1080.


Ah. Got it. So I guess this is like a Mario Kart 8 situation. Native 720p, upscale 1080p. Didn't realize "upscale" and "output" we're basically the same thing.

I just think it's so weird that this game was made for the Wii U. Like who would ever think, "Hey guys, let's do an HD remake of an obscure PS2 game and have it come to PS4 anddddddd......WII U!" It's such an oddity, which it why I wanted to get it haha.

It kinda makes sense though, I mean...

PS2 --> PS4

DS --> Wii U (since 3DS can't do HD)

I guess they just wanted both audiences covered.

Yeahhhhh. But the DS version came out like 5 years after the PS2 version. It in and of itself was a remake kinda.

nah, not interested. it has 61 on ps4  with 9 reviews, wii U has 70 with 3 reviews.(gamerankings).

Well taking all the scores together on Metacritic it would seem that reviewers like it about as much as they liked the Order 1886.

I liked The Order 1886, mostly. So perhaps Legend of Kay is something I should seriously consider, because reviewers can be idiots sometimes.

Won't come to PSN+ because only games with a Metascore of 75+ get to be "free" PSN+. The meta right now is only 63.

Kinda explains why there've been no AAA PS4 exclusives free on PSN+ yet. j/k

Yep, it's part of how Sony promotes the "quality" of what gets offered each month on PSN+. Crying shame really because there are plenty of gems in the 70-75 range that just seemed to not resonate with enough reviewers.
