I always think of grind when I think of Diablo... I recall spending endless hours leveling an Amazon and her amazon merc to 99 in Diablo II where it took days of the cows just to gain a level whilst being at constant risk of losing days of work from one death.

Bleh. I was really into stacking up tons of MF at the time and there was this thing called the "Ward Bow" I believe that was ridiculously good. I also recall some barbs using ist runes in two six-slotted swords, but I believe the Ward Bow still added up to more.

Fun times. Wasted a lot of my youth there.

But you loved it.. Admit it :).

what is lost time... If my gaiming time is lost then I have lost alot of my time. Still i see other people doing other things..do they lose time also.

all we do is loosing time... What a waste.

Hah yeah I definitely loved it. I enjoyed Diablo III to but found it couldn't recapture that feeling I had with Diablo's I and II... it's not their fault, though; it's just harder to be impressed when you've been playing online games for 16 years as opposed to a few.

I made the mistake of playing the heck out of Diablo III the moment it came out as a barb which, at higher difficulties, became nightmarishly difficult due to the aoe effects whilst being melee. Did they ever make it a little more reasonable?

Yes also miss feelings of diablo 1 and diablo 2 but have to live with diablo 3'

The game became infinitely better when they closed the Auction House and introduced Loot 2.0. Before you would grind like crazy to basically find pieces of equipment good enough to sell at the Auction House to get gold and then in turn buy the items with the specs you needed for your character. With Loot 2.0, the drops are geared toward your character class which makes grinding much more interesting.

Played alot on the PC version also with the auktion house and liked it because i could sell crap for money. I liked d3 on ps4 until I understand that it was not on a online server, ie cheaters paradise. Since then I play single game or with closed friends, why didnt they make it online on ps4 ? Thats when they destroyed D3 for me. If it have been online i world have been playing it today.

Never played it on console. I don't think I'd like the control scheme. I logged over 400 hours on the PC version, to me Diablo has always been a PC experience and the game has extras on PC like Seasons (and I didn't know about cheaters on PS4 but it does sound terrible).

Cheaters like some of the ones in this thread are the reason i don't play anymore.  I refuse to play with cheaters,  and when my friendslist cheats i have to play alone.

It also kinda demoralizes me that i platted the hands legit and people are warning the same plat via cheats. I have a buddy that would reload his hardcore save file every time he died.

In the week or so since I posted in here and felt motivated to try and finish the platinum. I've gotten 2 more charters to 70 as well as one to 46 and one to 38, finished the hardcore playthrough that character to 53, and 190 bounties. Seems like I'll be posting bounties to level up my hardcore and the other 2 to finish the last three trophies :/ need for the platinum

I think you kinda need to be a special kind of special to even manage to die on a normal Hardcore run. I didn't, once, even come close to croaking on that run.

I think you should worry less about cheaters honestly. They are a reality and won't go away. If you decide to plat a game, it's because of your own drive to see all the game has to offer, not because you want to show off that you did.
