So supposedly the NX is entering production this October.  IMO that would mean a mid summer to early fall 2016 launch.  Seems smart to me, discuss.

P.S.  Yes it is a rumor, but I would mention this particular website is very reliable, and frankly this just makes sense.

At this point the 3DS isn't "Old" now, but it will be 5.5 years old by August 2016.  In addition, the Wii U is a complete comercial failure and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

This is the same old rumor we heard a month ago. With the same source. Some sites sure are slow.

Why would you launch during the slowest time, in terms of sales? Can  the F-in Gaming Media please stop this crap and report real news. Stop with the specualtion crap.

In all honesty though, do gaming journalist have jounalism degrees? Seems like most do not.

If the rumour is true it also stated NIntendo are winding down wii u console sales with 2015 being its last Christmas and they are expecting about 2 million sales taking it to about 12 million in total.

This will mean serious discounting as they clear out stock at the end. Expect to see good offers in the January sales.
