Itagaki pretty much revived Ninja Gaiden and is the Mastermind behind it all just look at how NG3 turn out without him, I have been preaching that MS should reboot the Otogi franchise with From Software and Sega a while they are at it they could get Platinum to reboot Gunvalkyrie another OG Xbox game.

Man looking back Sega put a bunch of good exclusive games on the OG Xbox back in the day.

I wonder what would have been if they actually pulled the trigger to buy them back in the day, I'm still holding out for the pipe dream that they buy Capcom lol.

Otogi is a Sega Sammy IP. Those guys are not interested in making games anymore. 

They're Pachinko specialists not software development.

They were in serious negotiations to buy Nintendo though so there must be some sort of loophole, also Zenimax bought Tango Gameworks so it isn't impossible.

They could easily do a co-publishing deal for the game if MS was interested in rebooting the franchise, Remember that Sega owns the Bayonetta IP yet they allowed Nintendo to fund and publish the Sequel while also having no hand in it's development also a Sega 1st party studio is Making Halo Wars 2.
