Good graphics upgrade.... guess people that own a ps4 but never had a ps3 will be able to enjoy the game.
Seems like more people where expecting a new game instead though.

Another day another port. I really have no interest in this and am unsure why it is even being made.

I know Nippon Ichi have ported many of their games to other consoles but a Witch and the Hundred Knights port really surprised me. Didnt think it was even remotely popular.

I have no problem with ports/remasters (in-fact i welcome most of them), but this is definitely an odd choice. Something like a Disgaea 3/4 bundle port would have made more sense for the PS4, especially with Disgaea 5 on the horizon.

I suppose since they already ported Disgaea 3 and 4 to Vita they needed something new. But would still make more sense for Witch and Hundred Knight Vita port than PS4 port.

I think I have this game but not played yet. This is like Diablo right? I'll rebuy it on PS4 when I get to play it then.

I buy most niche games to ensure more localizations of these small companies and most of the time they end up really good but with PS4 and Wii U I amassed a hefty backlog.

Agree.  With PS4's current state in Japan, I'd have to question who they're hoping to ship this to who wasn't already interested in the game on PS3.

At least with Vita, you've got the potential of people who want to buy a portable version.  I also think Vita's demographic is slightly better skewed for this kind of niche stuff than PS4's is right now.

The only thing I can think of - when NIS first announced Witch & Hundred Knight, they wanted it to be a technically impressive game that didn't feel graphically outdated like their other stuff.  Maybe they're still employing this mentality for the franchise going forward.

Seems like a poor choice that's only going to end in failure to me, but we'll see.
