Nintendo does: Retro Studios, Zelda Team and the 3D Mario team. And now I have to include the MK8 team, the detail those guys put into their tracks is amazing.

Ill respectfully disagree with you.  No offense or anything, i do respect your opinion

To each their own! :p

haha And for the record i hope they bring Banjo back to his true roots too :)

Well considering I always preferred the small niche MS exclusives than the supposed blockbuster one on other platforms I'm happy to hear that....

And for the first party, more Scalebound, Crackdown, Quantum Break

I believe those are all 2nd party.

OT: Great to hear! It seems like all 5 1st party studios are ready to ship their game in 2015/2016:

343 Industries: Halo 5
Turn 10 Studios: Forza 6
Black Tusk Studios: Gears 4
Lionhead Studios: Fable Legends
Rare: Banjo

E3 is less than 2 months away. Can't wait :D

Halo, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Scalebound, Fable among others. Not saying Sony and Ninty don't have anything of note (personally I'm more interested in the Wii U's lineup) but I won't deny that the XBO has the most heavy hitters this year.

If Sony and Nintendo still had Uncharted and Zelda this year, I would think differently.

I agree 100%. If Sony doesn't have a special E3 surprise launching before christmas Microsoft has October+November in the sack exclusive wise.

If only Rise of the Tomb Raider wouldn't come to platforms I already own, I'd have to buy an Xbox One this holiday. If Dead Rising 3, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare and Rise of the Tomb Raider all stayed exclusive (or if you don't have a PC) the Xbox One is a no brainer (imo).

Theyve actually been doing pretty good this generation regardless of downplay.

Microsoft has been doing really good. Nothing beats the early Xbox 360 days though. Up until 2008 the diverse 360 library was just sick:

Kameo
Dead or Alive
Project Gotham Racing
Dead Rising
Saints Row
Gears of War
Viva Piñata
Crackdown
Blue Dragon
Lost Odyssey
Ninja Gaiden
Fable 2
The Last Remnant

All MS IP, doesn't matter

But with "1st party focused" I think Phil Spencer is referring to their 1st party developers. No?

You could be right. Maybe he's just referring to Microsoft owned IPs.
