Reason number one why I'm not an organ donor.
Since this planet is at least 50% asshole the chance for my precious non smoked and non alcohol poisoned organs to land in any of them is just too big. Family and friends, maybe. Some unknown asshole, never.
If you demand respect or gratitude for your volunteer work, you're doing volunteering wrong.
