Forums - PC Discussion - Need help finding a laptop for a F2P gamer

Let me start off by saying I know almost nothing about PC specs.  I've been needing a new laptop for a while, I was gonna wait for Windows 10, but not now since its free and the hinge on my current laptop cracked so I basically need a new one now.  The most demanding game I probably play on my laptop is League of Legends and I've been thinking to get into Dota 2 and stuff, basically only F2P games.  When I try to do anything else on my laptop while I play League of Legends it lags so much.  I'd like to have League and itunes and Chrome going all at once.

I'm looking to spend $500-600, tbh I don't know if that sounds unreasonable for what I want out of my laptop.  Does that price point sound about right for what I'm looking for or should I be looking at laptops that cost more?

The reccomended specs for League of Legends are here https://support.riotgames.com/hc/en-us/articles/201752654-Minimum-and-Recommended-System-Requirements
3GHz processor
2GB of RAM
Nvidia GeForce 8800/AMD Radeon HD 5670

I can find laptops that blow away 1 or 2 of these requirments, but not all 3, like this laptop has 8GB RAM and AMD Radeon HD 7620G, but only 2GHz processor instead of 3.  How big of a factor will that play?  Remember I want to not only play League of Legends, but also multitask.

they fucked up at rito, like everytime... you dont need a 3ghz intel i.  they have a lot more power than amds.

I have an ancient laptop (2010) ( You can definately get something better for that price as seen from your post ) bought for $500 so I could try playing some games out for you and telling you how they play and stuff like that so you can make a better decision and it will give yourself something to make a comparism to on how requirements go on laptops,

Specs of laptop:

CPU: Intel dual core: T4400 2.2ghz
GPU: Radeon Mobility HD4570
RAM: 4GB
