Indie games are a blessing in disguise, so many good games out there like bit trip runner 2, shovel knight, zen pinball 2, trine 2, guacamelee super turbo championship edition, the list is absolutely endless and I support a shed load of indie devs. Like I said they really are a blessing in disguise on the Wii U.

Absolutely not, but I almost always buy them on Steam sales, with the exception of Runner 2 which I gladly paid full price, really sad to see Meme Run get more attention on Wii U than this game =P

Also, there are some promising indies coming out like SuperHOT, The Witness and A Hat in Time, which interest me far more than any AAA game on the PC.

I play primarily indie games.

AAA games often have a very low "fun-per-dollar" value for me, especially since AAA's often cost more than $60 now, with DLC and microtransactions. I often get just as much enjoyment, if not more, from indie games that cost much less.

I'd rather have 4 unique indie games than just 1 AAA title for the same price

Most of people ignore them when they speak about consoles sales what they say is true in this context indie has no efect on hardware sale

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

I wouldn't say I necessarily ignore them, but I definitely don't invest in them as much as AAA or AA games. Honestly, if indie games were physical releases, I would buy more of them. I just don't like digital all that much.

That being said, there are a few indie games I'm looking forward to, like Affordable Space Adventures, Mighty No. 9 and Fast Racing Neo.

99,9% do not meet my quality standards so I do not waste my time with these games.

I do, but I've also ignored most of all games lately.

I don't really draw a fixed line between indie and AAA. But since I have limited gaming capacities I will stick to games with grand scope. Since indie games usually can't deliver on that I stick mostly to AAA.

One of the reasons why I don't have a PS4 or a Xbox ONE is the fact that I don't like Modern Shooters, Action-Adventures and Racing Simulations, which barrs almost all their catalogue of games, at least in a felt way.

On my PC, most games I bought th last 5 years are either Indiegames or Retrogames (most on GOG, Desura or GamersGate). I don't even have an Uplay or Origin account, and a Steam account only because I got 4 freebie Steam codes and because of Kickstarter (most betas are Steam early access, although their beta may be a closed one). I have probably over 150 Indietitles installed on my PC right now (some of them still in beta access), and almost no AAA title made this decade because most of them are really not my kind of games.

The Wii U is my main console mainly because they have games other than the aforementioned genres, and because of the VC and eShop (formerly WiiWare). I have currently 9 AAA titles, 10 VC titles I didn't have on my Wii, and 24 Indie Titles. Enough Stuff to keep you occupied, I never ever even felt a drought on the cosole due to this.
