The Crew beta, Destiny beta, Diablo 3 beta PS4 1080p X1 900p.

Full version 1080p on PS4 and X1.

The beta/preview of 2 of those games were before the XB1 June SDK 2014 (+ 10% for GPU, + 5% CPU after new SDK) so that explains the improvement. Not sure about The Crew XB1 beta, was it really 900p anyway?

Also Diablo 3 on XB1 have whole levels running at ~50fps when it's locked 60fps on PS4. The XB1 game would have being probably locked at 60fps on those levels if it was running at sub-1080p instead of 1080p.

I think people though it was 9 00 on both because the Xbox One version was presented that way a while ago. Also most of the footage shown was on Xbox One and it looked fine, so just take that, increase the clarity and textures a bit and you have the PS4 version.

This is not those games and is a lot more demanding, there are also a lot more games that are not 1080P on x1, but keep cherry picking.

900 or 1080, doesn't matter in this case, because it's almost sure to be bugged at launch.

HUH? That is total bull, especially with Cd project.

Game looks great either way, looking forward to adventuring with Geralt again.

I think they swaped the X1, PS4 paper in front of the screen.

Any way, people should start doing this exercise and trying to find which version each one are.

Expect a lot of vegetation background shotouts for DF article...

Why do you seem upset? PS4 is more powerfull this has been the norm.

It's to hard to do something like this on a PC. Games look way better on my TV then when I load up a youtube video and select 1080p. It's just not the same thing as watching it in RL compared to a PC monitor.

I own the PS4 so this post isn't motivated from a place of envy, but I struggle to see the difference in side-by-sides. Frame rate is certainly more important.

If it's THAT important then you might want to consider assembling a computer for yourself.

Unrelated question: I've always played Elder Scrolls and such on PC's because there's so many available free mods that add tons to the game. Any idea if The PS4 or Xbox1 will make them available?

I'm not sure it's even possible but that's gotta happen eventually for consoles.

I tend to become sceptical whenever I see a post starting with a decleration of what console they own.

And not everyone that wants to drive a fast var goes out and spends half a million dollars on a supercar. You could also just get a car with a much less powerful engine but optimized and trimmed to perform.

And as far as this thread is concerned, I see a lot of downplaying here. Funny how just coming from a gen that was highlighted by the PS3 being blurry or having no grass, everyone has suddenly grown up and don't care about these things anymore.

I'm actually kind of surprised the PS4 is running the game at 1080p.900p on the XB1 was expected...But when DX12 and the Cloud are finally usable, the game is gonna be running at 1080p 60fps.It has to!   >:[

To be honest.I'm gonna wait at least a year after release before I play the game, maybe by then there'd be some good mods out.Besides I don't think my PC will achieve constant 60fps at 4k as it is now.By then NV pascal should be out, might even get to play the game at 5k which would be awesome.

Expected.
