Forums - Gaming Discussion - Is it possible to only buy new ip's through out the year?

Well, in 2015 first quarter alone there's gonna be Dying Light, Evolve, Life is Strange, The Order, Project CARS, and Bloodborne. If you get one game a month, that's half your year just about covered (depending on how quickly the chapters come out for LiS). Dunno about PC or Nintendo, I'm sure plenty of new IPs are cropping up in their fields as well.

Last year was easier, driveclub, watchdogs, destiny, heartstone, sunset overdrive, the evil within, murdered soul suspect, shovelknigth, the crew, valiant hearts, child of ligth, all trougth the year, and i'm excluding licensed properties like alien and shadows of mordor.

This year we would have, the order, the division, bloodborne, splatoon and quantum break, maybe overwatch and ori and the blind forest.

Last year activision and ubisoft where really upfront about new ip, but ubisoft alreadly said that they are slowing down and activision is more focused on supporting destiny, altough overwatch is arguabily from them. The focus from sony and microsoft this year are halo 5, uncharted 4 and the next tombraider and maybe the next street figther. even with splatoon, we now that this year nintendo will focus on zelda. Of course, there will be a lot of pleasent surprises this year, like mordor was, but for now, it isn't looking hotter than last year in term of new IP.

This year with bloodborne, the order, rime, axiom verge, just around the corner.... I should leave my wife and kid so I can spend time on the truly important things in life :-/ /s

Interesting... and I do think it is possible, but some painful sacrifices will need to be made. xD

Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won
